From our grandfather, Pete Blea, a passion was born to create hand-made wood crafts for family and friends. From this beginning, a generation of family woodworkers was inspired to continue this tradition and build custom unique pieces over many decades. From recycling old couches, recycled wood and whatever could be found or salvaged was used and repurposed. New pieces emerge and take on a new life. Despite having very small sheds or no shop at all, many projects arise to inspire and keep the craftmanship alive in our family. From the single root inspired hand craftsmanship of his children: Simon Blea (Master Woodworker), Silviano Blea (Master Mason) and Leroy Blea (Master Sculpture). From these humble branches, the inspiration and tradition lives-on now with Blea Woodworking (Silviano Blea Jr).
